Syntelligent Analytic Solutions, LLC President/CEO Participates in “HUBZONE Boot Camp” Panel

Luray, VA, November 8, 2012 – Stephen R. Synnott, President/CEO of Syntelligent Analytic Solutions, LLC, a professional services and consulting firm catering to U.S. national security and private sector customers, participated in a U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) sponsored panel discussion about the SBA’s Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) program. The November 7th panel discussion was hosted by the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce and included experts from the SBA, the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center, the Central Virginia Procurement Technical Assistance Center and the Shenandoah Valley Score Chapter #427 and owner’s of Page County HUBZone businesses.

The HUBZone program stimulates economic development and creates jobs in urban and rural communities by providing Federal contracting preferences to small HUBZone certified businesses. These preferences go to HUBZone companies in part for employing staff that live in a HUBZone and maintaining a “principal office” in one of these specially designated areas.

The panelists discussed the benefits of the HUBZone program, the steps to apply and their individual experiences with the HUBZone program. Mr. Synnott shared his reasoning for applying to the HUBZone program and his experiences in working through the application process.
