Mr. Phillip (Phil) Galinski is a U.S. Air Force veteran with more than 30 years of program management, project management, and commercial & tactical Information Technology (IT) engineering support experience to the U.S. Department of Defense and numerous fortune 500 companies.
As an enlisted member of the U.S Air Force Phil began his IT technical career as a computer electronics specialist and transitioned into multiple IT support opportunities as a government contractor. He also functioned as a Network Designer responsible for network architectures of large global telecommunication and financial companies. These experiences led to IT project management opportunities and eventually Director level responsibilities supporting DoD branches of service and agencies including, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army Intelligence Security Command, National Geospatial Agency (NGA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and Defense Media Activity (DMA).
Before joining Syntelligent, Phil functioned as Director and Program Manager for Vykin Corporation and SOS International. As Director of IT programs with Vykin he was responsible for the oversight of program management and operational control for corporate IT programs being executed in dozens of CONUS and OCONUS locations. Phil applies a personal method to instill transparency between Executive Management and Operations in all business environments. He successfully manages operational activities while performing program management functions to ensure employee, customer and corporate expectations are met.
Phil elicits confidence in leadership and decision-making abilities from all program stakeholders. Utilizing his inherent focus, discipline, and organizational skills he leverages industry standard practices and processes, such as ISO and CMMI, to increase program efficiencies and overall performance.
Phil has earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and has a BS Computer Science. Additionally, he is PMP certified and holds a collection of industry standard technical certifications
